1 Piece Driveshaft Vs 2 Piece

WYZEUP 281 Report post Posted February 15, 2016 So as I'm going through the process of transplanting a m60 into a e30 and have to make up a driveshaft to suit a thought of instead of running a 2 piece driveshaft, getting rid of the centre hanger bearing and having a 1 piece driveshaft built. 73's auburn posi, rear shackle flip. I bought it without a motor or tranny. The longer the tube the bigger the diameter must be in order to maintain a safe operating RPM speed on the highway. Measuring for a two-piece drive shaft is similar to measuring for a one-piece unit. Anyone switch to a one piece drive shaft and notice any difference? Two piece driveshaft phasing.
